Sestercentennial Kick-Off Luncheon and Myerstown History Presentation
After 250 years, it was time for a great lunch!
The Myerstown Sestercentennial Planning Committee kicked off the year-long celebration with a luncheon in the Theater Room at Stoneridge Poplar Run. The special events of the year were announced, and a special program on the history of Myerstown was presented by historian Donald Brown. Mr. Brown is also the director of the Institute of American Deltiology, located in the Borough. The attendees were treated to a trip back in time as they relived several memories from Myerstown’s past.
