Recreation Area Pavilions

The Myerstown Recreation Area has three pavilions that can be used during park hours at any time it is not being rented for exclusive use.  These pavilions are known as the Upper Pavilion, and the Lower Pavilions East and West.  The Lower Pavilion West has access to electricity for an additional fee.  Details and photos below.

To rent a pavilion for exclusive use, complete the Pavilion Reservation Request Form and return to Borough Offices with payment.  Applicants must also review and initial the Facility Use Rules and Regulations Form, and complete and sign the Facility Use Covid-19 Waiver.

Upper Pavilion
The Upper Pavilion was built by the Lions Club and transfered to the Borough when it purchased the Recreation Area in 1968.  It is 606 square feet and houses four picnic tables.  It is located next to the tennis courts and playgrounds in the upper portion of the Recreation Area.

EXCLUSIVE RENTAL COST: $30 per use

Lower Pavilion East
The Lower Pavilion East was built by the Borough in 1994.  It is 1,032 square feet and houses six picnic tables.  It is located adjacent to the Recreation Area parking lot off Peach Alley which can be accessed via West Richland Avenue between College and Railroad Streets.  

EXCLUSIVE RENTAL COST: $50 per use

Lower Pavilion West
The Lower Pavilion West was built by the Lions Club and transfered to the Borough when it purchased the Recreation Area in 1968.  It is 1,228 square feet and houses six picnic tables.  It is located adjacent to the Fish Dam parking lot off South College Street.  This pavilion has access to electricity for an extra fee.

EXCLUSIVE RENTAL COST: $50 per use
ADDIT'L CHARGE FOR ELECTRICITY: $25 per use ($10 deposit refunded upon return of key)
